Northgate School Council

The School Council gives students at Northgate a voice. Students are split into 4 Team Councils – Environment Team, Northgate News Team, Wellbeing Team and Social Team – each with their own areas that they look into. A number of students from each of the 4 Team Councils then go forward to the School Council to discuss and action some of the bigger issues.

The Council system is open to any student that wants to be involved and new members are recruited each September. Being part of one of the Team Councils is a position of responsibility at Northgate. We look for students who are reliable, responsible, enthusiastic, able to speak in front of others and bring ideas to the groups.
